This 700 acre guest ranch provides visitors from around the world with an authentic, western ranch vacation. From the moment of your arrival, they create a western atmosphere that both adults and children enjoy. The lodge, the guest cabins, fishing pond, swimming pool, games and children's playground are all close at hand.

The Horse Program at Drowsy Water Guest Ranch is geared to all age groups and riding abilities. Your horse is selected to match your riding skills. There is daily instruction offered, both in an arena and on the trail to help improve your riding proficiency. If you are already a skilled rider, there are opportunities to ride and explore.

Beyond horseback riding you have, horseshoes, rafting, a zip-line course, fishing, western dancing, hikes, campfires, hayrides, carnivals, pack trips, rodeos, mountain biking and many children's programs. This is your vacation, and you can take part in anything you like!

For children ages 6 through 13, there is a 'Rangerider' program; an instructional-based horseback riding program where after practicing skills in the arena,they enjoy trail rides. Before and after rides, other group activities such as obstacle courses, horse brushing, swimming, hiking, archery, rafting or lassoing. Children under 6are the 'Buckaroos';enjoying being entertained by counselors so parents can take part in ranch activities. Parents welcome to join in!The ranch is family oriented, so families enjoy meals and evening entertainment together.

Most meals are served family style in the dining room but outdoor meals are a highlight, such as breakfast on a mountain top, a barbeque or chuck wagon lunches. Meals are prepared from recipes that have been handed down for generations and made from scratch. If you have a special diet, they do their best to accommodate your needs.

The guest cabins and lodge are snug, comfortable and decorated with a western flair. Rooms are available to accommodate groups from a single person to a large family.
