The Hotel Teatro is housed in a historic building in downtown Denver. Built in 1911 as the Denver Tramway Building, its design incorporates a modern traditional Renaissance Revival-style edifice of glazed red brick and glazed white terra cotta.
The hotel is ideally located across the street from Denver's Center for the Performing Arts and close to the Convention Center, excellent shopping area and delightful restaurants, all with the majestic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
There are 110 custom-furnished guest rooms and guest suites in this non-smoking hotel. The rooms range in size from a cozy 200 square foot room to a 1400 square foot suite. Rooms are decorated with beautiful custom finishes, Indonesian sandstone floors and marble bathrooms.
During your visit, make sure to visit the new restaurant, The Nickel drawing inspiration from its Rocky Mountain Heritage and incorporates locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant welcomes guests and locals from everything between morning coffee through an evening dessert menu.
The hotel is pet-friendly, and proud to be named 'The Best Hotel in Colorado' by the book 'Canine Colorado'. There is no additional pet fee to bring your four legged friend with you! They can arrange a 'Pawdicure' at a nearby pet spa, and they work with a certified canine massage therapist for special therapeutic services.
